Drinking From Home

Drinking from home has become just as essential as working from home these last few months. One of my favorite things to do, quarantine or real life, is to explore different alcoholic beverages. From craft beer to cocktails, I love to mix it up when in the kitchen with different drinks. For anyone looking for different drink ideas during this time, I have listed some ideas/ recipes that might interest you and launch your bartending career. Cheers!

Local Breweries

If you are a beer drinker, contact your local breweries and see what they have to offer. Many breweries are doing take out options for growlers, 6 packs, and more. If you’re living in Denver area and not sure where to start, feel free to reach out to me directly and I am happy to five you some suggestions. Support your local businesses and enjoy some delicious drinks!

Delivery

If you’re anything like me, you want to go to the store as infrequently as possible. Luckily, a lot of stores are offering delivery services. Look into where you can get delivery from. I have been using Drizly, linked here: https://drizly.com/home

Try New Recipes!

Something that I’ve been looking into is trying to make cocktails and pair them with recipes, which I don’t always have time for when I am working a normal schedule.Order the same supplies as some friends and make them together on a virtual happy hour!  I’ve linked some easy fun recipes below.

At home wine tasting

Now is as good a time as ever to order some new wines and host a wine tasting event- either at home with your quarantine housemates or with friends during a virtual happy hour. Use your masks as blindfolds and ask guests to see if they can identify what they are drinking, or have guests rank which wines they like best and go from there.

Brewery Hop

If you have the space, set up different rooms with different types of beer and make your own at home brewery hop. Or, make your own flights of all of your favorite beers, and enjoy!

Take out your Zoom and use this time to enjoy a drink with family and friends!
